Founded in 1991 in Sydney, Australia, SKINLAB has steadily grown to become a leading name in the skincare industry. The idea was born out of the collaboration of visionary minds: Professor of Dermatology Andrew Watson, bio-technologists Frank Aufenburg and Manuel Schwarzkopf, and industrial expert and chairman of CareLine Cosmetics and Care. Together, they pioneered innovative skincare solutions during their work on an anti-eye puffiness formula project in Sydney. In 1991, they decided to harness their collective expertise and passion to establish SKINLAB®, dedicated to developing groundbreaking skincare products.

With roots dating back to 1982 through the founders’ involvement in CareLine Cosmetics and Care, SKINLAB evolved from Skin Care Research & Development to industrial manufacturing. Our company is driven by a team of biochemists, dermatologists, and industrial experts based in Australia.
